Boom
Apparently there was a huge power outage out at the Typepad data center in san Francisco. The details of which you can find here if you are interested.
I think there may still be a few issues, so if you find the site down, or if you are unable to comment over the next few days, that’s why ..
It’s a good thing I’ve been too busy to post anything recently.

That probably is the reason. The outage took out a large chunk of San Francisco, and a lot of web companies who have servers there, (Technoratti, Six Apart.)
It looks like everything is working again now though.
