I’m in the process of changing the layout of the website at the moment. I’m going to try to incorporate a few newdesign ideas. If you do happen to stumble upon the site during this transition..well sorry!! Your best bet is to read the entries using the RSS feed which you can get down on the right hand side until this is all sorted out.

Well the tournament is over for me…I mad a couple of stupid calls early on and completely crippled myself. After donking off most of my stack I lasted another 15 minutes and busted out in 112th. A very poor showing from me this week. Hopefully I’ll redeem myslef at the next WWdN Tournament next week.

It’s nearly 3am so I’m off to sleep.

I’ve signed up for the next WWdN Poker Tournament. I’ve had a whole lot of fun in the last 2. The first coming 2nd to Joanne and the last one coming in at 28th and spending most of my time at the “TV Table” with Wil, then CJ, and the PokerGeek.

This ones a little later than last week so it’s going to be tough not going out beforehand and filling up on Guinness. Here’s the details:

I’ve managed to fix the problems with logging into TypeKey when posting comments. So should you feel the need to post one, rest assured that you can now login to your TypeKey account to do it.

Until I figure out why it isn’t working I’ve disabled the Typekey login option.

My performance in the Blogger Championship was not the best one I’ve ever had. Basically I played a hand very badly and it cost me a very large portion of my stack. So from that point on I was in trouble. I them managed to pick the worst hand possible to go all-in when I was called with AA. My straight draw didn’t improve and I was gone.

Congrats to David who managed 120th in a field of over 1400

A while back I managed to use the phrase “Suckity Sucks” in reference to my stack at the time. I ended up All-In with AKo against CJ from UpFor Poker who had A…something, i forget. Anyway my Ace high hand with better kicker doubled me up at the time…w00t

Well I got crippled and then pretty much blinded out. I went all in with Q3o and was called by A4o. a 4 came on the flop and it beat the 3 I picked up on the turn. I finished 28th. A very respectable finish.

Well that’s me signed up for the second WWdN Tournament on Stars. Hopefully I can play as well and get as lucky as I did in the last one.

I’ve been going through the main index template and css for the site and I’ve come to the conclusion that they are a mess.

There’s so much junk in there that isn’t used, which makes updating little things a chore. Hopefully I’m going to be able to set aside half an hour at some point this week and redo them. Making them a lot neater and easier for me to manage. Plus I’m working on making the banner and background a little bit more well defined…they’r ejust really dull at the moment.

So if the site looks crazy at any point during the week it’s because I’m messing with it.

After my 2nd place in the WWdN Tourney and my success in various SNG’s over the weekend my confidence was high. Did you spot the use of the word “was”. I played in a few SNG’s last night and was repeatedly kicked in the junk, and I mean repeatedly….I think there’s swelling!!!

There wasn’t any huge bad beats, at least I’m not going to consider them to be, it was just simple things like an A high flush being crushed by a boat, and 2 high pairs being crushed by trip 3’s…..that one really ground my gears!!

I bubbled out too often last night for my liking. I really have to strengthen my game. At the moment my results are just too erratic. I could feel myself starting to go on tilt because of it so I had to just shutdown the pc and knock back another Guiness

(un)Luckily I have lots to do for my OU course which means I won’t get a chance to play any poker for the next few days. I might even take a break until the weekend. Recharge the poker batteries so to speak.

With the Blogger Tournament at Stars this weekend I want to be able to take my A game to the tables which means no results like last night…It all comes back to what I said a while ago I need to have complete focus on the game to be at my best.
